A Perfect Ganesh - This Saturday
For those of you who are familiar with ReAct Theatre’s staged reading
series every summer, skip right to the next paragraph! For the rest of
you - ReAct does a series of staged readings every summer at Elliott
Bay Book Company - these unique presentations are fully blocked, with
some costumes, set and props - but the actors have scripts in their
hand, and typically have no more than one or two rehearsals before the
show.
This Saturday, at 2:00pm, ReAct will present:

A PERFECT GANESH
By Terrence McNally
Elliott Bay Book Company
2pm - July 14, 2007
Staged Play Reading
In A PERFECT GANESH
the quest for meaning in their lives leads two middle-aged women on a
pilgrimage through India, each with her own secret dreams of what the
fabled land of intoxicating opposites will do to heal the suffering
that each hides within. McNally’s profoundly satisfying modern American
classic brings to life both a dark exotic setting and a moving inner
landscape of emotions, hopes, and lost dreams. We hope you’ll journey
with us to explore this amusing, affecting and compassionate drama.
