As you may already know - I am currently ASM’ing React Theatre’s latest
show WONDER OF THE WORLD playing at Richard Hugo House in Capital Hill.
The show opens this Thursday, Aug 2nd and plays through the 26th.

For those of you who like to watch light, funny, entertaining
comedies - this play is a MUST SEE! It is one of the funniest plays
I’ve seen, and I’m sure you’ll get a kick out of its wacky characters!

If you like your entertainment to have substance, and for it to
make you think - then there is a lot of depth in this play for you -
its a play about fate, coincidences, choices and destiny - and of
course, meaning of life!

And if you’re one of those who’ll come and watch anything, as

For those of you who are familiar with ReAct Theatre’s staged reading
series every summer, skip right to the next paragraph! For the rest of
you - ReAct does a series of staged readings every summer at Elliott
Bay Book Company - these unique presentations are fully blocked, with
some costumes, set and props - but the actors have scripts in their
hand, and typically have no more than one or two rehearsals before the
show.

As you may be aware, we are in the process of casting a play called Everyone Loves a Good Tsunami that will go on stage this June-July. We held auditions last Sunday, and we are still looking for a couple of women to play the roles of two middle aged women.

Obviously, we don’t need exclusively middle aged actresses - we need some one who can convincingly pull off the character. Here are the details of the characters. Please contact me if you’re interested, and we’ll figure out a time/place to meet for your audition.

SUSHMA JI: Suffers from an unknown medical condition. Expects (demands?) every one’s respect and sympathy - which every one around her gladly gives to her. Slow moving, low energy, but respectable suburban woman.
